 The school’s newsletter “Highlights” is published four times each term. Parents and students are strongly encouraged to read “Highlights”. It contains stories about student achievements and is also used as a vehicle for communicating important information about school events

Agricultural Department's Success at the local shows |

|
Our agricultural science students and teachers have just returned from a marathon effort of parading and exhibiting our brahman stud cattle and led steers at the Rockhampton Show. Each year, the school participates in the show circuit which includes places such as Marlborough, The Caves and Mt Larcom. For the students, it is a great experience in learning about animal care and management, judging and being able to speak authoritively about cattle to a public audience. The school won a number of awards including two first places in the led steer categories and second in the under 15 months Brahman bull calf.
Congratulations to all of our students who participated and to our specific prize winners. Special thanks to Acting Head of Department Manual Arts and our Agricultural Science co-ordinator and teacher for their organization of the exhibit and the supervision of our students.
